💚Aurora Reykjavík has moved to its brand new location, Fiskislóð 53 – next to Lava Show, Flyover Iceland and Whales of Iceland!💚

Dear friends, guests and partners,

What an exciting journey it has been! Over the past months, we have poured our hearts and nonstop work into transforming our new location, the historic Aðalbjörg fish factory at Fiskislóð, into Iceland’s newest Home of the Northern Lights.

While the Northern Lights season has come to an end, the incredible Aurora will of course keep on dancing  – at Aurora Reykjavík, Iceland’s first and only museum fully dedicated to the wonders of the arctic night sky.

For the past 11 years, Aurora Reykjavík has consistently ranked among the Top 10 attractions in Reykjavík, and we couldn’t be happier or prouder to expand our museum and move into this larger space.

Staying within the Grandi Harbour district, Reykjavík’s most upcoming area, has always been a priority for us.

Alongside our wonderful friends at Flyover Iceland, Lava Show, and many more, we’re dedicated to continuing the transformation of this former industrial zone into Reykjavík’s most lively cultural hub!

Sustainability lies at the heart of everything we do, which is why we’re proud to share that over 90% of the materials used to rebuild Aurore Reykjavík were reused or recycled.

We’re looking forward to meeting you all at our new location!

💚
