This picture was taken at Brimketill August 22nd.

The lights don´t always have to be crazy intense – this was taken at a KP3 – to express a very special, mystical mood.

We love the combination of the late sunset – it´s still very early in the season – , the foaming waves breaking at the black lava cliffs and the green lights glimmering at the dark blue sky.

Extremely rare “blood aurora” dancing over Iceland last weekend

Last weekend, people in Iceland witnessed an extremely rare phenomenon: The so-called blood aurora, strong red auroral displays clearly visible to the bare eyes.
