Really cute horse named Harry Potter. Very good guides. I chose the slow option. Good equipment to stay warm and dry. You don't need to bring anything except your enthusiasm.

Everything was so wonderful! My first ever experience with Icelandic horses and it'll be one i will never forget. A truly amazing tour around the volcanos! I being an experienced rider went into the advanced group while my friends took the slower relaxed route - the guides were extremely helpful in matching each horse to riders comfortability and skill level - the ride was beautiful and informative and getting to speed up and get the horses into the special Tölt gait was so much fun! After the ride they encourage you to hang with the horses in the pen and take has many photos and cuddles as you would like - very relaxed and hands on experience!
