Itinerario
Discover Iceland’s most dramatic landscapes while witnessing one of nature’s rarest phenomena – the Total Solar Eclipse of August 12, 2026.
Day 1 – Golden Circle & Þingvellir National Park
Begin your adventure along the famous Circolo D'Oro, visiting Parco nazionale Þingvellir, where tectonic plates meet and Iceland’s history comes to life. Continue to the powerful Cascata Gullfoss, the erupting hot springs of Geysir, and the striking blue cascades of Brúarárfoss before heading to the South Coast for the night.
Day 2 – Mt. Hengill Geothermal Hike
Explore the geothermal landscapes surrounding Mt. Hengill, where steaming vents, lava fields, and colorful mineral deposits showcase Iceland’s volcanic energy. Enjoy sweeping views over Þingvallavatn Lake before returning to your accommodation on the South Coast.
Day 3 – Reykjanes Peninsula & Total Solar Eclipse
Travel through the otherworldly terrain of the Reykjanes Peninsula, visiting geothermal areas and lava fields shaped by recent eruptions. In the afternoon, your guide will position the group at the best possible viewing location to experience the Total Solar Eclipse, as daylight briefly fades and the sun is completely obscured.
Day 4 – South Coast & Glacier Adventure
Discover the highlights of Iceland’s Costa Sud, including Spiaggia nera Reynisfjara, the village of Vík, and towering waterfalls. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided glacier hike on Sólheimajökull, walking across ancient ice formations before returning to Reykjavík.
Day 5 – Free Day in Reykjavík
Enjoy a day at leisure in Reykjavík. Explore the city’s cafés, museums, and shops, or choose from optional excursions such as whale watching or spa visits.
Day 6 – Departure
After breakfast, conclude your Icelandic adventure with departure from Reykjavík (airport transfer not included).
