Day 1 – Golden Circle & Þingvellir National Park

Begin your adventure along the famous Golden Circle, visiting Þingvellir National Park, where tectonic plates meet and Iceland’s history comes to life. Continue to the powerful Gullfoss waterfall, the erupting hot springs of Geysir, and the striking blue cascades of Brúarárfoss before heading to the South Coast for the night.

Day 2 – Mt. Hengill Geothermal Hike

Explore the geothermal landscapes surrounding Mt. Hengill, where steaming vents, lava fields, and colorful mineral deposits showcase Iceland’s volcanic energy. Enjoy sweeping views over Þingvallavatn Lake before returning to your accommodation on the South Coast.

Day 3 – Reykjanes Peninsula & Total Solar Eclipse

Travel through the otherworldly terrain of the Reykjanes Peninsula, visiting geothermal areas and lava fields shaped by recent eruptions. In the afternoon, your guide will position the group at the best possible viewing location to experience the Total Solar Eclipse, as daylight briefly fades and the sun is completely obscured.

Day 4 – South Coast & Glacier Adventure

Discover the highlights of Iceland’s South Coast, including Reynisfjara black sand beach, the village of Vík, and towering waterfalls. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided glacier hike on Sólheimajökull, walking across ancient ice formations before returning to Reykjavík.

Enjoy a day at leisure in Reykjavík. Explore the city’s cafés, museums, and shops, or choose from optional excursions such as whale watching or spa visits.

TRAVELERS’ REVIEWS

I truly had an amazing time on this trip. It is a long one, so younger kids may have a harder time on this trip. For adults I can only highly suggest this trip. My group and I have been talking about it daily since it feels like. Waterproof clothes and shoes. PROOF not resistant.

I had the pleasure of joining the Golden Circle tour with Ritchie as our guide, and he was absolutely fantastic. From start to finish, he kept the whole group engaged with his humor, deep knowledge, and warm personality. What really stood out was how he combined local insights with fun stories and personal experiences, making the history and culture of Iceland come alive. He even shared some great Icelandic music along the way, which gave the tour an authentic and personal touch. Ritchie was also very organized and attentive, making sure that everyone was comfortable, happy, and well taken care of throughout the day. You could tell he genuinely cared about the group’s experience. This was by far one of the best guided tours I’ve been on, and Ritchie made the Golden Circle unforgettable. Highly recommend him if you get the chance!

I used this tour operator several times during my recent trip to Iceland—including the Flybus service, a transfer to Þingvellir, and the Silfra snorkeling tour—and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Their services were reliable, well-organized, and perfectly timed. Most of all, their customer service was outstanding: friendly, helpful, and quick to respond. I highly recommend them to anyone visiting Iceland!

During our trip round the Golden Circle, including the Geysers and Þingvellir (Thingvellir) National Park, we had a wonderful tour experience offered by our driver Dori, a very knowlegable person on the local area and living experience in Iceland. We had a great trip with him. Well worth the time and money.

We had a wonderful experience - we booked two of their tours, Golden Circle Direct and South Coast Wonders + Glacier Hiking. Our guides were so pleasant; I wish I could remember their names (sorry) and our hiking guide Sylvia was also terrific! They were really accommodating, very knowledgable and professional and clearly very passionate about what they do - the glacier hiking felt very safe and our guide Sylvia was very helpful to my fear of heights, walking me through what we would be doing and checking I was okay throughout. Overall, couldn’t recommend enough - thanks for such a wonderful experience in Iceland.
