We toured Icelands volcano sites and blue lagoon with Kalman Racz who picked us up in Reykjavik and dropped us off at our hotel after an amazing day together. Kalman was so kind and knowledgeable about Icelandic history and volcanoes! He made the country come alive for me with so much information. And just a cheerful guide who made the day great with rest stops for people who needed snacks or bathroom breaks. Well done!

I had a great time on this tour. Siggi the guide was phenomenal, he made everyone feel included, he was super informative, and made me laugh. I learned more about Iceland from him than from any other guide on my vacation. The hike to the volcano was shorter than expected but was an experience I will always remember. Siggi was brilliant, he was really engaging and gave us a great tour around the volcanic belts in the peninsula just off Reykjavik. He gave us witty and fun commentary throughout the whole trip making it really great fun. He was motivating on the hike and even went through some local history. Thanks siggi it was great 😀

Great experience on a hike to an active volcano area. The guide Karol was super nice and had great stories. He also stopped for a few nice spots on the way which was not originally planned. Also, Blue Lagoon was amazing.

Stunning views!!!!! Amazing journey. The hike was a little challenging, but definitely worth it. I recommend this so much! Don't forget to bring a change of clothes!

FAQs

Where am I going to be picked up for my tour?
Pick- up takes place from from bus stops in the city center, hotels/guesthouses around Reykjavik.You can select your pick-up location during the booking process.
What time should I be ready for my tour pick-up?
Pick up starts 30 minutes before departure. It takes us around 30 minutes to pick up everybody, and we never know in advance if you are going to be the first pick up location or the last. We call for your patience and if there’s any kind of problem or delay we will let you know. For any last-minute communication, contact us at the phone number you will find on the top right corner of your ticket.
Will there be bathroom stops?
Every time we stop there’s going to be a toilet close to us. However, sometimes we will be driving long distances in between stops, so make sure you use the restroom every time you have the chance.
Is it possible to purchase food/drinks during the tour?
Yes, it will be possible to purchase food and drinks at some of the stops. For your comfort, we however recommend bringing some snacks and a water bottle with you.

What to Bring

1) Warm Layers – Wearing warm clothes will ensure a comfortable experience. 2) Hat, Gloves & Scarf – Keep your hands, ears, and neck warm while enjoying the adventure. 3) Waterproof Jacket & Pants – The weather in Iceland is unpredictable, be ready for all conditions. 4) Sturdy Shoes/boots – As you’ll be travelling through the Icelandic wilderness. 5) Camera/ Phone – Capture stunning photos. 6) Food & drinks –Make sure to bring enough water and snacks for the hike. 7) Swimsuit – It can also be rented at the Blue Lagoon at an additional cost. 8) Hiking poles (recommended) – they can also be rented.
