Absolutely amazing experience. Arrived with the snow falling so couldn't see much of the surroundings ... When the sky cleared the scenery was spectacular. The springs were fabulous. The weather changes several times whilst there and so was able to capture some amazing pictures. Hot chocolate in the lounge pool very decadent. Felt very authentic and not touristy. Conditioner for hair is lush too. I even saw a dolphin ina bay on the way back... Perfect trip.

For a moment of pure magic you need a good combination of ingredients: the charm of the ocean, warm hot springs water, a good glass of wine, a winterly Icelandic wether with snow in abundance, some playful birds and a curious seal watching you from not too far. I found all of this, at the same place and same moment, at Hvammsvik hot springs. This place will give you a memory to treasure.

Absolutely stunning views, and the springs feels incredible. I went during the winter and found the transition between hot and cold to be invigorating! You can order drinks while inside the springs.

Hvammsvik Hot Springs was absolutely fantastic! So simple, yet stunningly beautiful, with wonderfully warm water and breathtaking views. I loved the minimalist design of the showers and changing rooms, as well as the close connection to the sea and nature. My daughter loved it too, and time passed way too quickly. A truly unforgettable experience!

  • Where am I going to be picked up for my tour?
    Pick- up takes place from from bus stops in the city center, hotels/guesthouses around Reykjavik.You can select your pick-up location during the booking process.
  • What time should I be ready for my tour pick-up?
    Pick up starts 30 minutes before departure. It takes us around 30 minutes to pick up everybody, and we never know in advance if you are going to be the first pick up location or the last. We call for your patience and if there’s any kind of problem or delay we will let you know. For any last-minute communication, contact us at the phone number you will find on the top right corner of your ticket
  • Will there be bathroom stops?
    Every time we stop there’s going to be a toilet close to us. However, sometimes we will be driving long distances in between stops, so make sure you use the restroom every time you have the chance.
  • Is it possible to purchase food/drinks during the tour?
    Yes, it will be possible to purchase food and drinks. For your comfort, we however recommend bringing some snacks and a water bottle with you.

1) Warm Layers – Wearing warm clothes will ensure a comfortable experience. 2) Hat, Gloves & Scarf – Keep your hands, ears, and neck warm while enjoying the adventure. 3) Camera/ Phone – Capture stunning photos. 4) Swimsuit – It can also be rented at Hvammsvík at an additional cost.
