Your adventure begins with a comfortable 45-minute bus ride from Reykjavík, transporting you through Iceland’s rugged landscapes to the secluded Hvammsvík Hot Springs. Upon arrival, immerse yourself in the soothing geothermal waters of the eight natural hot springs, each offering varying temperatures and stunning ocean views. The unique setting allows you to relax as the warm waters meet the cool Atlantic, providing a truly distinctive experience.

During your visit, take advantage of the facilities available: Changing Rooms & Showers, Towel & Swimwear Rental (Available on-site for your convenience) and a bar where you can enjoy refreshments and light meals.​

Absolutely amazing experience. Arrived with the snow falling so couldn't see much of the surroundings ... When the sky cleared the scenery was spectacular. The springs were fabulous. The weather changes several times whilst there and so was able to capture some amazing pictures. Hot chocolate in the lounge pool very decadent. Felt very authentic and not touristy. Conditioner for hair is lush too. I even saw a dolphin ina bay on the way back... Perfect trip.

For a moment of pure magic you need a good combination of ingredients: the charm of the ocean, warm hot springs water, a good glass of wine, a winterly Icelandic wether with snow in abundance, some playful birds and a curious seal watching you from not too far. I found all of this, at the same place and same moment, at Hvammsvik hot springs. This place will give you a memory to treasure.

Absolutely stunning views, and the springs feels incredible. I went during the winter and found the transition between hot and cold to be invigorating! You can order drinks while inside the springs.

Hvammsvik Hot Springs was absolutely fantastic! So simple, yet stunningly beautiful, with wonderfully warm water and breathtaking views. I loved the minimalist design of the showers and changing rooms, as well as the close connection to the sea and nature. My daughter loved it too, and time passed way too quickly. A truly unforgettable experience!

    Every time we stop there’s going to be a toilet close to us. However, sometimes we will be driving long distances in between stops, so make sure you use the restroom every time you have the chance. There are toilet facilities at Hvammsvík.
  • Is it possible to purchase food/drinks during the tour?
    Yes, it will be possible to purchase food and drinks at Hvammsvík. For your comfort, we however recommend bringing some snacks and a water bottle with you.
