It’s very cold out at sea even on a ‘warm’ day so wear plenty of layers. We were very lucky to see humpback whales and a minke whale so the trip was a success. Liked that the crew very promptly shared professional photos after the trip. It means you don’t have to rely on your mobile phone to capture the action and can enjoy being in the moment. Also good commentary on marine life facts.

Words can't describe the feelings we got when we had the sightings! We saw a humpback and 2 pods of dolphins - truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience! The tour was perfectly timed and well-organized. Our guide, Pedro, kept us entertained with his humour and informative commentary! The total tour lasts for around 3 hours - approx 45 minutes to an hour to reach the spot, about an hour spent observing the wildlife, and another hour to return to the harbour.

Amazing trip. The crew were so knowledgeable and clearly cared about the whales to the point they had named and could recognise them. Not only that they were excellent at finding the whales, we encountered two Minkies and also a Humpback which we got great views of from a close but safe distance. A brilliant experience from start to finish!

Amazing tour, the initial trip was cancelled due to poor weather but the team were great in helping us rebook and it was well worth it! Fabulous tour guide, great spotting of both humpbacks and minky whale. Rodrigo was very knowledgeable, helpful and funny. Great combination! Would highly recommend!

Really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend. Great guide who was very informative and it was great to see the respect for the whales this company has. Make sure you wear layers!! It’s freezing out on the ocean but they have cover suits you can borrow and an onboard cafe. Would definitely do again

    The tour departs from the downtown Reykjavík Old Harbour, conviently located few minutes away from famous landmark and most accommodations. For added comfort, a pick-up option is also available to pre-book at an additional cost.
  • Are there bathrooms on board?
    The vessel is equipped with bathroom facilities, accessible for the duration of the cruise.
  • Is it possible to purchase food/drinks during the tour?
    Yes, it will be possible to purchase food and drinks at the on-board café. For your comfort, we however recommend bringing some snacks and a water bottle with you.
