Hunt for the northern lights on a guided Aurora bus tour from Reykjavik!<\/p>\n
We meet you at selected bus stops and hotels in Reykjavik<\/strong>. Our group size can vary based on the season, max of 30-40 people per group<\/strong>. Our journey will take you outside of the city limits, away from as much light pollution as possible, as the northern lights are harder to see from Reykjav\u00edk. As you search for the aurora borealis, your guide will set up their camera for photos of your group. Your tour guide will ensure everybody gets an opportunity for a photo<\/strong>. If our hunt is successful, we email photos using a dropbox link within 7 days of your tour<\/strong> to the email provided with the booking.<\/p>\n THIS TOUR RUNS DEPENDENTLY ON WEATHER – every day we assess the situation and decide whether or not to run the tour by 5 PM. Please note that pickup and drop off are included in our tour duration. This duration may adjust is we have an early appearance of the lights, or if we need to take a little extra time for the hunt.<\/p>\nNorthern lights Hunt<\/h3>\n
The end location is not pre-determined, as it depends on the cloud coverage and activity in the evening. As the lights can be quite elusive, we will try to keep the drive as short as possible and might need to stop at several locations.
If we have a spot the guide determines as a good location, we might stay at that spot – It is often a waiting game for this beautiful phenomenon, but it is always worth it.<\/p>\nPhotos & refreshments<\/h3>\n
Curl up in warm blankets<\/strong> and enjoy a self-service selection of hot chocolate and snacks<\/strong> and enjoy some stargazing while we wait for the aurora to appear.<\/p>\n
