In Thingvellir you can clearly see how the Eurasian and American tectonic plates are moving away from each other, 2cm per year!

The Gullfoss waterfall in the river Hvítá is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Iceland.
Close to it you will find the Geysir geothermal area, where Strokkur hot spring which erupts every 5-7 minutes.

In addition, you will visit two more gems of the region, Faxi waterfall and the Kerið crater.
