Really entertaining and informative. As a professional geographer I was delighted to hear a clear and accurate explanation of the geological processes. Engaging presenter who dealt with the "show" and the questions very well. An easy walk from central Reykjavik. Snacks and drinks available.

Fantastic museum, easy to find & good value for money. Very informative with some excellent exhibits & beautiful images of the Northern Lights - the exhibits also included English-language audio which was very helpful. They also sell some beautiful photography artwork of Iceland and the Northern Lights, I found it difficult to choose just one print to buy as a souvenir!

This was a really excellent show. It is very educational. We all learnt lots about volcanoes and lava. It is also fun. You sit so close to the lava you can feel the heat. The seating is comfortable, you are given safety goggles as a precaution because the lava is so close and so hot. This was an experience we will not forget our two boys 11 and 9 have been telling everyone about it! . Highly recommend it.

I had a truly lovely visit to the Northern Lights Center in Reykjavik. The atmosphere is warm and cosy, and the friendly chat with the receptionist made the experience feel even more personal. She was welcoming, knowledgeable, and added a nice human touch to the visit. The highlight for me was the 3D presentation of the Northern Lights. It shows the aurora as it appears in different parts of Iceland, with a beautiful variety of colours and shapes. It’s a great way to understand how unique and magical this phenomenon can be — even if you don’t get to see it outdoors. There is also a small gift shop with carefully selected items, perfect for picking up a meaningful souvenir. A wonderful stop in Reykjavik and a great way to experience the Northern Lights in a calm, informative, and inspiring setting. Highly recommended.
