Dagskrá

Experience Iceland’s winter magic on a 3-day adventure exploring the Golden Circle, South Coast, and Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon.

Your adventure begins with the legendary Golden Circle. Explore Þingvellir National Park, where Viking history meets powerful geology, and walk between two continents in the rift valley. Feel the raw power of the Earth at the Geysir geothermal area, where Strokkur erupts every few minutes, launching steaming water into the chilly air. Then, take in the thundering beauty of Gullfoss, the “Golden Waterfall”.

Day two brings you along Iceland’s dramatic South Coast, with stops at the postcard-perfect Seljalandsfossi and Skógafoss waterfalls. You’ll stroll the eerie black sands of Reynisfjara, watch waves crash against basalt columns, and glimpse the ghostly sea stacks of Reynisdrangar just offshore. In the evening, you will have the opportunity to see the northern lights dance in the night sky – weather permitting.

On day three, you’ll venture to the world-famous Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon and nearby Diamond Beach, where shimmering icebergs rest on volcanic black sand. Then, it’s time for a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience: entering a natural ice cave beneath Vatnajökull, Europe’s largest glacier. With crystal-blue walls glowing from within, this is one of Iceland’s most breathtaking winter wonders—and only accessible for a short time each year. This is more than a tour—it’s a winter journey into the heart of Iceland’s most spectacular landscapes.

TRAVELERS’ REVIEWS

Our guide was a former Belgian - sorry, forgot his name - and the driver was a big friendly Icelander - both were very friendly and accommodating with blankets, hot chocolate, etc. They were not willing to settle for the first stop finding lights, instead insisting on continuing the hunt and striking gold on a subsequent stop. Very patiently took photos of everyone to share online later. Highly recommend.

This was my first time witnessing the majesty and breathtaking magnitude of the Northern Lights, and I cannot recommend this experience enough. Our guides, Christian and Ania were fantastic! Christian was so knowledgeable about the Lights and shared valuable insights! We also appreciated his stellar photography skills. I recommend this experience through and through! 🙂

This tour was great! Agnes, our tour guide, was exceptional and stopped along our journey around the South Coast for us to take in some incredible views / sunsets. The accommodations for the night were standard and clean. Overall, I would recommend this tour for anyone trying to see the south coast in the winter!
