We’ll begin the Ice cave under the Volcano Tour from Reykjavik. You will be picked up in a Minibus from central Reykjavik.<\/p>\n
After your pick-up, the adventure is ready to start!<\/p>\n
We will be driving on road number 1, but will soon turn to no-man’s-land! You will be amazed as we drive by the mountains and glaciers all around us.<\/p>\n
We will take you to the base of the K\u00f6tluj\u00f6kull glacier, where the view in front of you will be simply breathtaking. There you will see layers of different colored ice creating a striped pattern on the glacier – thousands of years of history right before your eyes!<\/p>\n
Your knowledgeable guide will tell you all about the glacier and about the Katla Ice Cave itself. The visit will start shortly afterward a small hike. This will be both an educating and exciting experience all at once!<\/p>\n
On the way back to the capital, we will stop by the waterfalls Skogafoss and Seljalandsfoss. Sk\u00f3gafoss is located in the beautiful Sk\u00f3gar area and is also the inspiration to dozens of folklore tales.
\nFinally, we will also stop at the stunning Seljalandsfoss waterfall, on the Seljalands River which flows all the way down from the famous volcano, Eyjafjallaj\u00f6kull!<\/p>\n
We\u2019ll arrive back in Reykjavik around 8:00 p.m.<\/strong>
