The northern lights cruise was nice! The boat was comfortable and we learned a lot about the lights. We did not see the lights the first time going, so we were given the chance to try again for free. Second time we saw them! We are so glad we saw them especially given the time we went. There’s less of a chance in April, but the guides had hawk eyes and looked for any type of action for us. So happy with the tour!

Smoothly driven boat ride with expert staff made this tour a wonderful experience. The onboard snack bar was convenient, and the tour guide was very knowledgeable about both astronomy and the Aurora borealis.

I very very highly recommend this company. Yesterday we went on the whale watching tour which was amazing, the guides were perfect and all staff on board were very friendly and knowledgeable. We managed to see multiple Humpback whales and we found the company very ethical as they kept their space from the whales and were respectful of them. Since we enjoyed this tour so much we decided to book to go on the Northern Lights tour with them later in the evening, this was also amazing, the guide again was amazing, and we managed to see the lights, they even stayed out later so everyone could enjoy the show.

Great crew very helpful, guide (Mike no flash) was very informative and funny, photographer was helpful, boat was well kept with great facilities, we didn’t see the northern lights on our first trip out so booked the next night and we’re rewarded with a great show (kpi 6) from Mother Nature even though it was cloudy I think it added to it. Highly recommend these guys will be booking for wen we return…

Our travel agent booked a Northern Lights cruise for us. On our first attempt the weather wasn’t cooperating so they gave us the option of a refund or to rebook for the next night. We chose to rebook since the main reason we came to Iceland was to see the Northern Lights. The next night was the same so we rebooked for our last night. It started clouding up about an hour before our cruise was set to sail. Initially it was overcast and left little to see. The captain kept manoeuvring the ship to find clear skies. While we waited for the light show the crew kept us entertained with facts about Iceland and star gazing. Finally it started and the sky’s provided us with the most spectacular show. This was definitely a highlight to our trip, well worth the wait and props to the tour operator for their persistence.

    The tour departs from the downtown Reykjavík Old Harbour, conveniently located few minutes away from famous landmark and most accommodations. For added comfort, a pick-up option is also available to pre-book at an additional cost.
  • Are there bathrooms on board?
    The vessel is equipped with bathroom facilities, accessible for the duration of the cruise.
  • Is it possible to purchase food/drinks during the tour?
    Yes, it will be possible to purchase food and drinks at the on-board café. For your comfort, we however recommend bringing some snacks and a water bottle with you.
