Tourbeschreibung

Nach deiner bequemen Abholung in Reykjavík machst du dich auf den Weg, um Islands ikonischen Golden Circle zu entdecken.
Beginne in Þingvellir, einem UNESCO-Welterbe, wo Islands erstes Parlament gegründet wurde und wo du zwischen den auseinanderdriftenden Nordamerikanischen und Eurasischen tektonischen Platten in der dramatischen Almannagjá-Schlucht spazieren kannst.
Weiter geht es zum Gullfoss, den spektakulären „Goldenen Wasserfällen“, gespeist vom Gletscherfluss Hvítá. Im Frühling kann sein donnernder Wasserfluss auf nahezu 2.000 m³ pro Sekunde anschwellen – ein unvergesslicher Anblick.
Als Nächstes schlenderst du zwischen dampfenden Quellen und blubbernden Becken umher, bevor du Strokkur alle 5–10 Minuten ausbrechen siehst, wenn er kochend heißes Wasser bis zu 20 Meter in die Höhe schleudert. Ganz in der Nähe liegt der ursprüngliche, heute ruhende Geysir.
Danach entspannst du in der Laugarás Lagoon, idyllisch am ruhigen Flussufer gelegen. Genieße warmes geothermales Wasser, Saunen, ein Kaltbecken und eine Swim-up-Bar. Wähle zwischen dem Birki-Eintritt oder dem Lerki-Upgrade, das ein Handtuch und ein kostenloses Getränk beinhaltet.
Rückfahrt nach Reykjavík mit Absetzen an deinem ursprünglichen Abholort.

This is probably one of the coolest places in Iceland. The lagoon is new, very stylishly decorated, and the design is exceptionally well thought out. It offers an ideal combination of nature and luxury. The staff are still learning but are very friendly and helpful. The water bars have a wide selection, including interesting alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. There is a dry sauna and a steam room, with a cold plunge just nearby at the perfect temperature. It is not crowded like many other places. The cosmetics available in the changing rooms smell wonderful and are of good quality. Overall, it’s fantastic!

The whole experience was just marvellous, the coach driver well he was more of a guide, explained in detail of each location we visited, chatted about Iceland in general, but he made it so interesting and fun. There was never a dull moment. The day just flew by. If you go to Iceland this tour is a must.

FAQs

Where am I going to be picked up for my tour?
Pick- up takes place from from bus stops in the city center, hotels/guesthouses around Reykjavik.You can select your pick-up location during the booking process.
What time should I be ready for my tour pick-up?
Pick up starts 30 minutes before departure. It takes us around 30 minutes to pick up everybody, and we never know in advance if you are going to be the first pick up location or the last. We call for your patience and if there’s any kind of problem or delay we will let you know. For any last-minute communication, contact us at the phone number you will find on the top right corner of your ticket
Will there be bathroom stops?
Every time we stop there’s going to be a toilet close to us. However, sometimes we will be driving long distances in between stops, so make sure you use the restroom every time you have the chance.
Is it possible to purchase food/drinks during the tour?
Yes, it will be possible to purchase food and drinks at some of the stops. For your comfort, we however recommend bringing some snacks and a water bottle with you.

1) Warm Layers – Wearing warm clothes will ensure a comfortable experience. 2) Hat, Gloves & Scarf – Keep your hands, ears, and neck warm while enjoying the adventure. 3) Waterproof Jacket & Pants – The weather in Iceland is unpredictable, be ready for all conditions. 4) Sturdy Shoes/boots – As you’ll be travelling through the Icelandic wilderness. 5) Camera/ Phone – Capture stunning photos. 6) Food & drinks – We’ll also make stops on the way, if you wish to purchase snacks and beverages while on tour. 7) Swimsuit – It can also be rented at the Lagoon at an additional cost.
