Please note the Golden Circle Premium and Northern Lights Comfort is 2 separate tours with a 3 hour break in between for your comfort. Northern Lights are dependent on the weather and we cannot guarantee sightings, it is possible to split the tour up over different days upon request.

GOLDEN CIRCLE HIGHLIGHTS

Þingvellir
A historical stop at Þingvellir national park, with the oldest parliament which was formed in 930 AD. This national park is surrounded by dramatic lava formations, colorful birch-land, rich in Icelandic birdlife and of course homes the continental rift that separates Europe and North America.

Gullfoss & Geysir

The grand Gullfoss waterfall, where you can really experience the true power and force of Icelandic nature, seeing that the average amount of water running down Gullfoss is 140 cubic meters per second in summer and 80 cubic meters per second in winter.
Magestic Geyer area, where you can see the marvelous Strokkur erupt and shoot boiling water up to 40m high!

Faxi waterfall
A quick stop at Faxi waterfall follows, where you can see this hidden gem in the tranquil wilderness. Perhaps you will even get to hear a ghost story from this area. Who knows? The Golden Circle offers so many surprises!

  • The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and beyond our control. They are visible in Iceland from September through April but visibility is subject to Northern Lights activity and cloud coverage
  • We cannot guarantee sightings even if the tour is operated
  • Due to weather and/or road conditions we might have to alter the itinerary, have longer journey time or cancel the tour
